Point Lookout accommodation for the Straddie Assault, the event is managed by the Point Lookout Boardriders Club, and is now in its' 28th consecutive year. The Straddie Assault surfing event is invitation only to 16 Board Rider Clubs in South East Queensland and south to Lennox Heads. Teams of 10 riders represent their clubs, including junior and senior competitors.
